Personally I think he's just an act....
It's all setup.
Most likely it's staged. He's the director of the show ( or at least some episodes). He's involved in nearly every process when it comes to making the show.
Still very entertaining...

And obviously it's not real.... everyone knows it's a ing illusion.
What I'm saying is... everytime you see his illusions, you can always come up with a conclusion on how he might've done it.
You can't say the same about Blaine or some others that are actually good..
Some of Chris Angel's stunts are too outrageous to be entertaining. However, his disappearing acts are very good especially if he doesn't use trick photography. Also, the mind reading is pretty incredible too.
Overall I have to say I like David Blaine a little better.
