Ok it's time to take a break from Free Agency pipe dreams cause they are getting old. Who else is with me in thinking the Spurs are due for a new look? no no not free agents, i'm talking about new jersey's. I've been a spurs fan my whole life and these things have been the same since i can remember. I say we bring back the Gervin look with the "San Antonio" in skinny block letters back instead of the "Spurs" on the front. Now i don't want to change colors because i love the Black & Silver, but instead of the home white we could wear like a darker silver. just a thought to get everyone's mind of FA's.

Maybe they can update to something newer. You know, like Motown.
yea i remember them changing 2 years ago, but to tell the truth i can't tell the difference. I heard they changed the type of lettering but it looks the same to me. I just think the "San Antonio" print on the front would be a nicer look and different since most teams have gone away from that.
Keep 'em, and get rid of Stan Kelly and the Pre Game music.
i like the jerseys aswell but i would like the san antonio back on the front, i thought that looked cool!

I too want a new look for the Spurs. They look too plain. I don't want some P Diddy green or anything like that. Throw in some Silver or something like that.
the "San Antonio" on the front is awesome...i always make that my jersey when i play NBA live.
i also agree that we should get rid of "are yall ready for this", but at the same time that some is synonamous with "spurs". everytime i hear that song it reminds me of the alamodome days! lol
They tried the silver look in 2004. They hadn't tried it before, IIRC, because there was some huge problem in finding fabric in the silver color and several players had a preference for the fabric used to make the current Spurs jerseys. I have no idea why the fabric now used can't be colored an appropriate silver, but the Spurs were insistent that it could not.
When they tried it, they kept losing home games to crappy teams and supers ion being what it is, the Spurs apparently retired the idea.
Supers ion is, I think, why we still have "Ya'll ready for this" as the intro song. The last time the Spurs opened a game without that song was at the beginning of a playoff run a few years ago. The Spurs lost that game and the song came back immediately. I can't say for sure that it's more than a coincidence, but the evidence seems pretty strong.
let's take it back to the short short days if any uniform changes occur.
The silver jerseys were too shiny.
They did away with the cotton eyed Joe, they can do away with YRFT, especially since the song's avatar is now coaching against us.
The Spurs are too obsessed with branding to leave the team name off any jersey.
A third uni colored gray, with San Antonio on the front would be sweet..just as a third option...the silver unis from a couple of years ago looked like foil..I'm talking about the gray unis from the Iceman era..that would be nice.
I'm just tired of the same jersey, i was lookin at my old spurs basketball cards and i saw the old spurs, Willie Anderson, TC mings, Antonie Carr and J.R Reid then i got to Manu Parker and Duncan and they looked the exact same lol except for longer shorts. I just think a new look would be nice and i am hooked on the "San Antonio" on the front

I think the Spurs have the sharpest cleanest looking uniforms in the league. The logo is probably the most recognizable in the NBA. Don't change anything. White at home, Black on the road....looks sharp.
The black unis look sharp.
They just need some new intro music.
