Isn't it bad enough that there is a thread for every available free agent that may or may not fit the Spurs payroll? Now we have threads for players that aren't even rumored to be on the block.

It's not common knowledge that Perkins is one of there keepers. The Celtics suck, not too many people outside of Boston give a about the team...so he made a thread thinking it would be a nice pick up.

I'll bet my car Bufort/Pop take Perkins over Ian if they were both costing us about the same and roughly the same age, and all other things were equal. Perkins is a solid player.
