THe Cubs have the worst luck...even worse than the Rangers. Look at their injuries...Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Derek Lee...I would blame that rather than the manager, and Dusty is a proven winner.

I do agree with leemajors...the GM needs to realize those guys are just going to stay injured.

It could be argued that Wood and Prior's chronic injury problems may be related to Dusty Baker's tendency to overwork them years back. Rob Neyer predicted Mark Prior's injury problems early on, based on Dusty pitching him for 110-120 pitches per game in his rookie season.

Dusty should've been fired a long time ago. He's horrible.

No- Dusty is great. Pitchers can't throw K's with a torn rotator cuff, or from the DL at all, for that matter. What needs to happen is the Cubs trade both of them while they still have some kind of value.

Need to fire the ownership group (Tribune Corp), bas s have never done what's necessary to win since taking over.

People here who complain about Holt & co. have no idea what truly evil leadership can do to a team. Cubs fans turn out in huge numbers no matter what the team is like, the Tribune Corp. makes money, and so they see no incentive to fix things.

Completely agree. He is notorious for over working his horses. I personally don't want to see Dusty go because I enjoy watching the scrubs wallow in the basement with Pitt.
