    Doesn't really bother me.

I hope he takes playing time away from Harris/Terry.

He does play Parker well, though.

But so do Harris and Terry...so oh well.

    Isn't afraid to shoot?

    Is OK quickness wise?

You're talking about Beno Udrih right, the back up point guard for the Spurs?

    Heh, I'm messing around.

I don't know man...I think most people on here will agree he struggles with his confidense and if anything he will pass up open shots more than take them.

Also, he's not super quick. He's more on the nifty side.

Udrih gets to the hoop kind of like Manu does, without the athletic ability to dunk...and most the time when he stretches for that lefty layup he misses or it gets blocked.

Beno was very aggressive with his shooting in the second half of the season.

    He's isn't quick though.

true. but the dude does shoot and hits at a decent percentage for the time he is out there. I think his confidence will grow when he doesn't have a veteran behind him.Plus he is on the cheap making less than a mill a year. Spurs are thrifty spenders you know

    He has a nice stroke.

I would love to see him shoot every time he gets it and is open.

Not sure about the Mike James deal but the Mavs sent Daniels to Indiana for Croshere.

    Pacers sending Croshere to Mavs

Indiana will receive G Marquis Daniels in exchange for longest-tenured Pacer

The Pacers have agreed to trade Croshere to the Dallas Mavericks for guard Marquis Daniels, according to people with knowledge of the situation.
The deal can't become official until July 12 when teams can complete trades and free agent signings.

Croshere was the longest-tenured Pacer, spending nine seasons with the team. He became expandable with the addition of draftee Shawne Williams and with the Pacers trying to become more athletic. Croshere is also entering the final year of his contract. He averaged 7.5 points and 4.3 rebounds during his career with the Pacers.

Daniels averaged 9.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists in three seasons with the Mavericks.

The trade for Daniels is the first of what could be several moves by the Pacers this summer. They're also interested in acquiring former Pacer Al Harrington from the Atlanta Hawks.

Daniels was making way too much money, and he's in Avery's doghouse. To top it off, he's a third-stringer on the depth chart.

I'm not an expert on Croshere's game, but he gave Indiana 8 and 5 in 23 minutes last year as a backup PF, which sounds okay to me.

Why do you think it's such a bad deal?

rofl, how did Marquis get so bad? He was just as hyped as Josh Howard after last year's playoffs, then in this year's playoffs every time he gets in the game he turns it over Malik Style.

It was a nazr-esque turnaround for him.

That doesn't really make sense for either team.

Daniels isn't that great...and Mavs already have a Croshere type player in Van Horn.

Keith Van Horn replacement I guess.
I'm not going to put up any emoticons until he's safely signed to some other team.
