lame
There's a rumor going around that the Spurs may send Manu to the Wolves for KG with other possible teams and players involved somehow to make the salaries work.
Now I don't believe this at all, but Minnesota has done dumb things in the past. And there have been worse trades before (Shaq for the worst players on the Heat). So nothing would surprise me.
Chicago is reportedly dangling Tyrus Thomas, Ben Gordon, and a first round draft pick which is alot more than we can offer unless we throw in Parker. Now of course Garnett could be forcing this trade, but why haven't we heard about him doing it? KGB Pop?
So take that for what you will, we're not going to get anyone at all in free agency. Our only chance for change is a trade. Why make any changes on a team that had the best record in the West and should have beaten the Mavs and Suns? Well our window is getting smaller and smaller for one, once Duncan is done this team is finished. They will reach a level of mediocrity seldom seen for this franchise unless Stern rigs the lottery for them again.
lame
No way that's true. That'd be the most lopsided trade in history
Where did the rumor originate? Do you have a link?
KG makes 21 million, we'd have to trade Manu, Parker, Barry and Horry to make that happen. If the NBA changes the rules so that it's 3 on 3 next season i say do it.
I wouldn't do it, even if I could. I like Manu too much.
This is one of those coke binge established rumors.
my favorite.
I heard it on Miami radio today!
lame
I would believe it if they made a time machine and they were talking about Rick.
.
Nocioni, Garnett, Wallace that'd be a pretty sick frontcourt
Manu for Garnett?
Why would McHale trade in a Bentley for a Beamer?
It would only take Manu, Barry and Horry or Manu, Barry and Oberto to make the salaries close enough.
That being said, I don't think it's plausible.
someone told me today they would trade manu straight up for livingston
I'd do that in a second.
Maybe KG wants out really bad and is demanding a trade to SA.
Then I woke up.
I'd really hate to see Manu go.
aslong as tp is not included I would do it
I also would throw in scola
We could do it. We can't trade consecutive first round picks, so all we'd have to do is throw in every other first round pick until 2090.
liking manu is ok
trying to improve the spurs is better
I would not want to trade tp and manu
but I would trade tp for kg
Are you sure? According to RealGM it'd take up to six Spurs to get Garnett.
That's if you exclude Tim and Tony.
That's odd.
Manu and Barry combine for over 13M. You should just have to get to 15M to make the trade work. That's within 25% of Garnett's 20M.
