Too bad for the guy but he'll play better in the European game.
BUYOUT IN THE WORKS: The Hornets are in buyout negotiations with shooting guard Arvydas Macijauskas' agent, which would allow him to play in Europe, a league source said.
The Hornets had been shopping Macijauskas in a potential trade deal but did not receive much interest around the league. Macijauskas, whom the Hornets signed as a free agent last summer, played in 19 games and averaged 2.3 points last season. Hornets coach Byron Scott said Macijauskas struggled to learn the playbook. http://www.nola.com/hornets/t-p/inde...960.xml&coll=1

My 18-35 rec team can use another shooter. He would have to pay $40 to join the team though.
I doubt he could get his shot off.
I read Barca is interested in him.
Macijauskas was considered a top player in Europe before he came over. It just goes to show you that you can't just throw money at a guy who puts up numbers in Europe. If the players are big enough or athletic enough, they'll get destroyed in the NBA.
You mean just like Nocioni playing PF?
