New Addition To The Family

A co-worker found a kitten her outside of her kids daycare when she dropped off her kids in the morning(the kitten ran off into the bushes). When she picked up her kids that afternoon, the kitten was still at the daycare but was running throught the parking lot and a car almost hit her. So kitty was rescued and brought to work and when I went to check the kitty for any health problems, she crawled up on my shoulder and nuzzled my neck.
Needless to say......I took her home..... and my other cats are pissed...

They will have to just deal with her...my mom just loves her!!!
Her name is ANGEL( like my Lil Sis...)and she even has wings...

New kitten in the house and my male cat gets real sick...Respiratory distress. Dropped 350.oo at the vet for him, they wanted to do more tests but I couldn't drop the additional 500-700 dollars on it. It is wait and see time...I don't want to have to put him to sleep...
I hope the steriod shot that he got is all that he needs. Any Vet type people here in the forum??? I could use some advice...

Beckie, it won't do much now, but you might want to look at Pet Insurance.

It's medical insurance for pets and IIRC, the price wasn't that bad and it pretty much covered everything.

I actually have it on him....you pay all costs for the vet now and get re imbursed later...

Thanks Sis....The Vet gave him a steriod shot and he is doing better. He is acting like himself a bit more but I have to give him IV fluids twice daily and take him to his Vet tomorrow. I just don't want him to get worse while I am at work.
