Word is the Lakers and Spurs are talking about a swap. which is no surprise the Spurs need a center and Mihm can fill the void nicely hes a solid center nothing great but hes solid. i'm thinking it's a 1 for a 2 swap we will see how this plays out.

    Word is from where?

Only way the Spurs go after Mihm is if Elson or Butler is matched.

Mihm and Butler would actually be a pretty nice 1-2 punch.

If Barry goes to LA... are you kidding me??? Under a Jackson led team Barry's worth will be magnified...

We will regret this if we end up getting Mihm and if the Lakers end up getting the missing cog Jackson's been looking for as a PG.....

Mihm is solid. Better than Elson. But agreed nothing could/would happen until Butler or Elson were matched.

This would not make sense for the Lakers. It would leave them with Kwame Brown and Andrew Bynum handling the center duties. Mihm is better than either one of those guys.

    Mihm >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Elson

That tells you how bad Elson is.

But Bynum is the next Shaq. Nevermind he got owned by a D-League scrub on Saturday.

I talked with a RealGM Mod, who has connections with negotiation talks. no side has agreed on the trade it seems but there still talking it could lead me to believe the trade will be done though cause the Spurs want a Center and the Spurs would give what the Lakers want.

Mihm would be a decent starting center. One year contract for $4.2M. 10.2 ppg/6.3rpg, 72% ft, 1.2 blocks, very foul prone.

He would be far better than Elson. I don't see them doing it unless one of E/B is matched.

Barry would be excellent in the triange. He can pick it up and his passing is exceptional.

Yes, and he still has room for improvement. he can thrive playing with Duncan also there is no doubt in my mind Brent is involved on the trade talks.

The Lakers needs a good center and they need to get Kobe some more help.
Because Kobe is not the team by himself. The Lakers needs to get some role players bad.

Call me crazy, but I wouldn't mind Mihm personally. Don't think it's gonna happen, but I wouldn't mind having him on. Nothing wrong about having a Longhorn on your team.
