Shavlik went home after the first day of the Revue for personal reasons. I don't know if he came back (or is coming back).

    Then who cares. just kidding.

Do the Sixers have anyone worth a crap in the middle that Mahinmi is going against that could impress even more so that us that are hoping he comes over NOW, are supported by it.

Ivan McFarlin has been a personal favorite of mine. What a great player he was for the Cowboys. He's a tweener with NBA talent, but he's never been able to break through.

    Updates are appreciated, ya'll.

    decent rebounding for time played.

ITs cool. He was due for a bad game.

We will see how he does, in the next game.

SALT LAKE CITY (July 17, 2006) -- Day four of the Reebok Rocky Mountain Revue began at 3:00 p.m. at the Lifetime Activities Center at Salt Lake Community College, and apparently the Philadelphia 76ers (3-0) missed the memo. The San Antonio Spurs (2-1) scored the first eight points of the game and led 14-4 at one point in the first quarter in game 10 of the RMR. Philadelphia, the only undefeated team in the Revue, cut the lead to two points with a last second tip in before the quarter break.

In the second quarter, the 76ers took the lead for the first time in the game with a Glen McGowan bucket with 6:30 left in the first half. Thanks to McGowan’s 11 points in the first half, Philadelphia took the seven point lead at the half. While the Spurs shot 45 percent, the 76ers shot just 35 percent from the floor, yet the 76ers were 11-of-11 from the free throw line.

In the third quarter, the 76ers took over, led by the Revue’s third leading scorer Louis Williams. Williams hit a long three-pointer with less than a second left to push their lead to 19 points at the end of the third.

Edin Bavcic scored 13 points in the quarter for the 76ers while Williams had eight in the third alone. Bavcic was originally drafted by the Toronto Raptors this past year and was then acquired by Philadelphia in a draft day trade. Bavcic, born in Bosnia went on to score 21 points in the game.

In the fourth quarter, the 76ers increased their lead to as much as 29 points thanks to inexperience on the side of San Antonio. Air Force graduate, A.J. Khule got his first action for the Spurs in this Revue.

The 76ers shot 29 free throws in the game, while the Spurs only got to the line 17 times. The fourth quarter dragged on, but finally ended with the 76ers winning by the final score of 87-61. Williams led all scorers with 23 points while the leading scorer for the Spurs was Andre Brown who only had 13 points.

    So what's up with Mahinmi?

Is there still "potential" hype, or is he a guy who gets dominated by physical centers in the post? Or c, all of the above.

You can't tell jack without seeing the guy play. Nobody got more than 20 minutes of PT for the Spurs in the game today, BTW.

Too early to tell but dude needs to bulk up. There is no way he can hang with the physical PF/C in the NBA. They need to motivate this kid and let him know just because he was drafted in the first round doesn't mean he is coming to the NBA no matter what.
