Developer plans resort-style complex along La Cantera Parkway

A Brownsville-based development company is planning a 46-acre mixed-use development along La Cantera Parkway, estimated to cost between $500 million and $600 million.
CG Financial Group LP purchased the property several months ago. The developer envisions a resort-style complex with condominiums, single-family homes, office and retail, the company’s CEO Adrian Gracia said.
Gracia, who also has an office in San Antonio, hasn’t yet named the project, which is near the intersection of Loop 1604 and Interstate 10.
“We’re extremely excited about it. San Antonio is the best market in the state and I do think that intersection is pretty much the best site in the state,” he said.
He expects to break ground on the project this year.
