Today I had to put my beautiful Casey to sleep. Last weekend he had Congestive Heart Failure and he was able to come home this week after an overnight stay at the vet. Casey was not eating and I took him to the vet yesterday. The vet told me Casey had Kidney Failure. The treatment for Kidney failure was to give a lot of IV fluids, however with the CHF, you want to get rid of excess fuilds. After a overnight stay at the vet with IV fluids set to not overload Casey, he did not respond well. After speaking with the vet and much crying, the decision was made to put him to sleep. Casey would greet me at the door when I came home and he would sleep with me every night...sometimes curled up next to me in my arms. I will miss him soooooo much. I had him from the day he was born and 10 years later I was with him when I had to let him go. Goodbye my beautiful Casey.... I LOVE YOU!!!!!!

Damn Beckie ... I'm So sorry. I've had to make similiar decisions in the past and know how you feel. Hang in there girl.
