my question is, who produces these DVDs and why are they always so crappy? If I was a Heat fan, I would be pissed :|
PARTIAL TRUTH
While the Heat's championship DVD is a worthwhile keepsake, the NBA Entertainment-produced video that was released last week hardly offers the complete story of the climb to the le.
For example, while there is a mention of the harsh words traded between guards Dwyane Wade and Gary Payton during the ugly Game 4 opening-round loss in Chicago, there is no mention of Udonis Haslem's mouthpiece toss in Game 1 of that series, James Posey's flagrant foul in Game 3 of that series, or the timeout controversy with the Mavericks in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
The regular season also is mostly glossed over, although there was a rewind moment to make sure O'Neal actually said, "If you look at the team we had, on paper, we should have gone 79-3." That from a center who continually took an indifferent approach to the regular season, and likely will again.
The best parts of the hastily produced package were the bonus-feature recap of the franchise's first season and the replay of the entire fourth quarter of the le-clinching Game 6 victory.

does it mention the stan van gundy to pat riley switch? cuz if it doesnt thats pretty messed up.
what does this has to do with spurs?
we had one too, last year.. and it should have been ours.. thats what that has got to do with spurs
The Championship Video from 2004-05 was light and left for wanting.
wrong forum? I don't think I've ever seen a really well done championship DVD. They're probably made by the lowest bidder.
They're all the same. No use to anyone unless you didn't watch the season. Just another way to make some $$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I thought the 2004-05 DVD was pretty good. The 2002-03 one was garbage. I felt like it was made by a Laker fan, with all the crap it talked about the Spurs blowing leads. It seemed like they spent half the Laker series coverage showing Kobe bringing them back from 25 down in game 5.
It's in the NBA forum, why would it have to be about the Spurs?
I like the part where Dwayne Wade, Dan Crawford, and David Stern reveal their plot to call fouls on anyone who breathes on Wade inappropriately. What drama.
dam...you guys even diss the heat's dvd...we sure get a lot of love...anyways you guys know if it wasn't for the injuries we would have developed chemistrey much earlier,and could have won at leas 60 games.but oh well,anyways i heard the dvd is really cool,but im still looking for it!!!its sold out almost everywhere!

The 'dis is directed toward the producers of the DVD... not necesarily the Miami Heat.

My personal favorite was the DVD for the 2003-04 world champion Detroit Pistons!!!
That was a beautifully made masterpiece.
