I feel bad about not putting Spies Like us in there. He was also funny in his brief Orange County role.
I'm also having trouble deciding which was more tragic, Chevy Chase as a late-night talk show host, or Magic Johnson. Chevy knows it sucked and admitted it, Magic pinned the blame on his guest.

Fletch is one of the top 5 best movies of all time.
The sound track with the synthesized keyboard from the 80s revenge of the Nerds style makes it all worth while.
I'm not a Chevy Chase fan at all.
But I've seen Foul Play a couple times and it's mildly humorous. I never found the Fletch or Vacation movies that funny, but they have their moments.

Werd. When he makes five good movies, I'll bump this thread. Caddy Shack was funny, but he was almost supporting in that movie. Any movie that he's had to carry usually winds up lame in one way or another.
