Rangers took 2/3 against White Sox this weekend. Oakland took 2/3 as well. It seems like nobody is gaining or losing ground in the West really. If M's keep hitting, this could e a 4-team race to the end. Should be exciting!

If Weaver can win every start the rest of the year the Angels have a chance, but that aint happening. Mark Texiera has come alive recently along with Michael Young in the power department, but I still don't think the pitching is enough to overtake Oakland, and the Mariners are once again not going to make any moves at the deadline, Soriano would definately be a great fit if the rumors were true, but I doubt anything happens.
I picked Oakland at the beginning to win it by 3 games and I'm stickin with em
Um..., no they didn't. 7/21 DET 7 OAK 3 7/22 OAK 9 DET 5 7/23 DET 8 OAK 4
I almost want to root for the Mariners to not have a chance coming down the stretch.
Any chance the Mariners have mean Bill Bavasi stays around longer.
Bavasi sucks, but this M's team does have potential.
It does, I know...but Bavasi just doesn't deserve a whole lot of props. I think the team is doing well despite Bavasi, not because of him.
Where is Jim when his team gets owned?
I was thinking the same thing.
