60+
60 or more
55-59 wins
50-54 wins
49 or less
With how the roster looks currently what's the realistic season we would have with it?
(poll pending)
56 wins and a conf. finals exit![]()
Season hasn't even started and already you're a pessemist?
54 wins
reasons why we wil win the ship this year
1.duncan manu both look to have a healthy year
2. duncan showed he was still the mvp
3.parker will be again one year better
4. we didnt use rasho or nazr in the playoffs at all so having two centers to use is another advantage
5. we are more hungry for the ship after getting jiped from another chance to repeat
6.we are now aware of the rule changes
so 58 wins
nba championship
Pop will have an epiphany.
Open flow offense will be installed.
Entire bench will be used thruout season.
57 wins and we couldn't care less, it's all about a prelude to the playoffs.
2007 le
50-54..who are you guys kidding..lol im just saying
55-59. And Finley will be a monster off the bench.
only if they play dallas and dampier gets in his way
too bad detroit will be lucky to get past the second round.
They will need the luck of the Irish to get anything more than 57 wins
as the roster now stands. Hope and pray to St Peter there is a trade
NR 4 seed and an exit after round two.
Um, the Spurs secured the number one seed in the West, number two in the NBA with an injured Tim Duncan. Why is it because we lost Rasho and Nazr, and gained two centers that will probably produce the same, we're worse? With a healthy Tim, this team easily wins 60. And if Butler and Elson produce adequately and can most importantly REBOUND, then we'll easily win 65.
I noticed something after the first year we got Robert Horry, we lost in the second round in the playoffs to his former team (lakers). We won the championship the next year. We pick up Finley, then lose to his former team in the second round (dallas). Now hopefully this dumb theory plans out and we win it this upcoming season. Not sure if this theory has already been said but im just putting it out there
Since the 99-00 season the spurs have been 50+ win ball club. So Im going with 55-59 wins this season.
I believe we are not done with our roster as of yet.... we are going to win 60+ games again next season but in will end in a le though.... against Miami in the finals.
Never in a million years is THIS ever likely to happen!!!!!
By winning percentage, 1999 was the equivalent of a 60 or 61 win season.
I think 58, the rest of the West has improved (except for the Trailblazers, of course). I don't think any team in the West will win 60 games and because of this, the East will have homecourt in the Finals.
Probably 55-59 as someone else mentioned. Last year, as much as people ed during the regular season losses against B.S teams like Atlanta, Hornets, Lakers, etc....Spurs were pretty damn good during the regular season. Also there weren't that many great teams last season outside of Dallas, Detroit, Heat, and Suns. I think a lot of teams have gotten a lot better this offseason...Houston, Blazers, Hornets, Chicago...and so there'll be tougher compe ion in the regular season.
