San Antonio Spurs star forward Tim Duncan will receive a pair of awards Thursday, including one from the NBA.

Spurs officials say Duncan will be presented the league's Community Assist Award. Former Spurs great David Robinson, who won the award previously, will present Duncan with the plaque at the Spurs-Philadelphia 76ers preseason game on Oct. 21.

Duncan will also receive the Rotary Club of San Antonio's Outstanding Young San Antonian Award on Tuesday.
