Anyway, it wasn't like we HAD to implode and/or spend an arm and a leg to get help after losing to the Mavs, in game 7, in overtime, after coming back from a 3-1 deficit.

Wasn't anything but doo doo out there this year--but we lucked out and got rid of our doo doo.
Maybe next year it will be raining good trades and free agents and our bucket will be full of wonderful players--while all the other clubs digest the doo doo they picked up by the bucket load this year.

Sequ, what exactly could the FO have done to markedly improve the team this offseason?
They got rid of Rasho and his albatross contract, something many people have been hoping for, and let no-hops fumble-bum Nazr go (thanks for the help in '05, otherwise not going to miss him overly). They replaced them with two new centres, one of whom has great potential, for half the price. They filled the 3rd PG role with a solid if unspectacular guy, and they built a team with more flexibility than we had last year. They didn't get the young 3 that everyone craves so badly. Also, we still have 3 Euros waiting in the wings to do with as we please. For mine, that's a B offseason.
The long 3 doesn't worry me too much as Bruce doesn't seem to be slowing down and I have confidence the next player we acquire will be a 3 for the future. Eric Williams will be fine as a backup for a year if necessary.
What exactly is your beef? That we didn't sign JPryz to a bad contract? That we haven't broken the back for Bonzi in a contract year??? I mean, WTF?
