Maybe if we keep condemning Israel the terrorists won't hurt us (whimper).
...that talks about this Reuters photographer Hajj staging and photoshopping and just plain making up?
How 'bout the 40 dead that dropped to 1?
Or the Qana dead toll continuing to drop?
Then you've got the travelling Hezbollah mortician with a refrigerated truck full of bodies.
If Israel is recklessly bombing the out of Lebanon and killing so many civilians, why does Reuters and Hezbollah's travelling mortician feel the need to propagandize civilian casualties?
Maybe if we keep condemning Israel the terrorists won't hurt us (whimper).
Haven't you heard? The only propaganda is coming from Israel dropping pamphlets and from the Islamic news agency the US funded.
It's just horrible to witness gullible conservative minds tripping over their own .
Is this a response?
If conservatives are so witless how dumb to liberals have to ing be to ever lose an election?
"If conservatives are so witless..."
... because there are more of these sheeple than non-conservatives.
Quan y doesn't imply quality.
And to answer this question is that Reuters does a lot of business in countries whose populations hate Israel, so kowtowing to Israel helps the bottom line.
They had to fire Hajj though. When a stringer gets caught photoshopping and staging pictures, you have to fire him or you might lose your American and European clients.
Frankly, I'd been waiting for Yonivore to plaigarize a blog.
just kidding.
Pretty lousy-ass Photoshopping job too...
Can you guess which one is the altered image? Hmmmmmmm.....
The clone stamp tool is NOT always your friend.

Irony: the plagiarist calling out the fabricators....
Because posting on a basketball forum is the same as being one of the world's largest wire services.
It's still "lack of scruples" calling out "lack of scruples". Motes, o Kettle and all of that...
As opposed to gullible liberals with their heads up theirs.
At least I'm not propagandizing for a terrorist group.
funny how NBADan can't post and spam the forum with that link, unlike with the other articles from the onion and other BS.
If the picture had been plagiarized by Israel, boutons and Dan would have started five threads each about it.
You're not supposed to put any thought into these things. In America, your political opinions are determined by which team you are on. In this country, on the right, Israel is automatically good no matter what, and on the left Israel is automatically bad no matter what.*
So, for example, if somebody is on the right, then if Israel bulldozes a Palestinian town in order to build settlements for Hasidic Jews that just moved over from Brooklyn, they are supposed to think that is perfectly OK because Israel has a "birthright" to that land. If the Palestinians retaliate, that is "terrorism."
And then, on the other hand, if Israel is under attack from a foreign para-governmental en y like Hezbollah, and does anything to defend itself, that is inherently bad, because Israel is inherently bad. If they truly were interested in peace, they would acquiesce to the Arab demands, pack up and leave, and we would give them part of Florida as the new Jewish homeland. So fabricated propaganda like faked or staged photos is simply in the service of the greater good, which is whatever is bad for Israel.
*The exception of course is Jewish liberals, who at least for the next six months or so might continue to vote for Democrats.
Some would consider a country that attacks another under false pretenses, toppling their government, destabilizing an entire crucial area of the world, and causing thousands of deaths to be terrorists. o, Bushco...

Note the hat tucked under the arm
No wonder Hollywood lefties defend these guys....
Far be it for me to bring up the politics in this, but speaking from a journalism standpoint, I think the heads of some editors need to roll for this.
Speaking on the Reuters smoke picture, I fail to see what the cloning made better in the picture. I think the original is far more compelling without any attempts to embellish it.
Just sitting in the newsroom last night, I happened to catch a Paula Zhan piece about the mentioned photographs and I remember them bringing in Anderson Cooper to comment on what the Israelis were doing. He said they were taken to a street with a line of ambulances and a military media advisor let the media interview the ambulance employees and then had the six or so ambulances take off with sirens blaring and go up and down the street so videojournalists could shoot B-roll.
This is an embarassment to all involved and those of us who share the le of journalists.
Rich and secular Jews support Democratic candidates, while the wack Jews, mostly NeoCons like Lieberman, support Republicans. You're not supposed to put any thought into these things. In America, your political opinions are determined by which team you are on. In this country, on the right, Israel is automatically good no matter what, and on the left Israel is automatically bad no matter what.*
So you think Reuters is anti-Israel?So fabricated propaganda like faked or staged photos is simply in the service of the greater good, which is whatever is bad for Israel.

Israel has also been censoring this war from the very beginning. It's funny but I've pointed out many doctored pictures by Reuters in the last year and not a peep from the forum wingnuts, but doctor a little smoke over Beriut and the wing-nuts go nuts. This is an embarassment to all involved and those of us who share the le of journalists
