Very sturdy. I hate it when people hang on sloopy.

I agree, but there are so many people who like to do so.
Some people don't even give you the whole hand, but as a Texan, you give your full hand and you give a firm, solid handshake.
Firm is good enough. Don't over due it by trying to crush someones hand. I don't trust men who give soft handshakes though.
Damn, it's about time.
Maybe they are too young to know about it.
(Not that I'm saying we are old)
Tommy James.
Ever heard the OSU version?
Ditto.
And look'em in the eye.
i feel more respected if it were firm, with the exception with the ladies...
A good ole firm shake will do I guess. But this newer generation has it all screwed up.
I always experience a conflict of emotions when I shake a girl's hand and she surprises me with a crusher grip. Is it attractive? Or is it way too man-like? I have yet to solve this question.
Do you guys also say Howdy Partner and tip your cowboy hat towards them.
I know! I played that song in my middle school orchestra. Pretty good song.
For some reason, most girls give me a loose handshake. Are they doing that to act more feminine?
The firmness of the shake should be consumerate to the person's hand your shaking and the situation, but you should always look the person square in the eye. Kissing on the cheeks is also making a trendy comeback in casual situations.
When given an option, I always prefer firm.
Always.
I don't like shaking hands. I always try to get out of it by giving a wave or put my hands in my pockets. Not a fan of germs anyway.
you ever shake a man's hand and it is super weak? It;s damp, clamy, and very very soft? The fingers and palm are ultra smoth and there is no firmness at all too it? IT almost like an unshaped lump of clay ??
ewwwwwwwwwwwww. that makes me throw up a little bit in my mouth.
firm, strong hand shake. always.![]()
I don't like doing it too hard cause I usually hurt people, even bigguns.
I'd never shake a womans hand the same way I'd shake a mans hand - you can tend to hurt them unless they work with their hands and are pretty strong.
But what I hate the most is people who try and shake with their left hands ... WTF?!
Limp is always bad.
left handed shaking is rude.
waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy back in the day that was the hand you wiped your ass with.
I notice it tends to be younger people ... I'm 23, but we always shook hands in Scouts so I was used to my right hand.
Now I go for an interview and the guy can't take the drink out of his right hand to shake hands with me ... freakin joke.
