DSL sucks Sequ ... you'll soon realize that.

unless you live right next to the CO. then you get great speed. otherwise, rr in austin at least kicks ass these days - 600k/s down, 60k up.
Roadrunner is 50 dollars. DSL is 17.99. WTF? Seems like a nobrainer to me.
I haven't noticed a load difference, but then again, I don't need to upload and download a bunch of crap either.
DSL seems fine for me.
I tried DSL on a lark at my new place because it was cheap, they waived installation and I can cancel without penalty. It's as fast as cable here. I'm pleasantly surprised so far.

Word. I have DSL too...and it runs perfectly fast enough for me. Also, I got the Verizon DSL deal when it was only $14.99---guess you're overpaying, Sequ!
Welcome back. I too have had no probs with DSL and excellent performance.
Be aware that when your introductory period runs out, they'll try to jack up your rate. Call your DSL provider and tell them you'll switch to cable unless they give you a rate comparable to the intro rate. This is the third year running that tactic's worked for me.
^I have a one year contract only...if they do jack up the rates I could always switch.

I was thinking about that situation and I have to say it sucks, sucks big time.

Why do you need DSL when you apparently have unlimited GSK?
