Hey everyone just had to make my point.....
everywhere you look read and hear people are raggin on the USA Basketball team. I don't see how "the complainers" should blame any of the guys on the team. The should be praised for showing up unlike the real LOSERS in the NBA!
& Larry & POP shoulda had a say in who went....IT all comes down to the LAME ASS STERN & the usa Olym committe.......
People are blaming the wrong people for this!

Carmelo is showing why LeBron was the MVP and it isn't even close. And LeBron's getting after it on D too.
Carmelo doesn't play D, and he's the only one who doesn't root the team on from the sidelines when USA makes their run. He pouts and told reporters, "Don't blame me on why we lost to PR." Doesn't belong on the team because he's too concerned about himself, and too concerned about making shots. Doesn't play D or hustle, like Lebron is doing.
'Melo was just pissed after PR because he got all of three minutes while watching the great Richard Jefferson redefine the term futility. I'd be pissed too.
At least it looks like Larry finally figured it out, benching Jefferson to start the second half.
D US Team is rocking if it beats the likes of Lithuania , Spain and Argentina. So far, they are rocky2

blowouts aren't necessary. All we need to be is one point ahead of the other team at the end of the game. Margin of victory is irrelevant to victory itself.
not in the REAL WORLD consisting of corporate america,a long list of countries who think america is the best thus their expectations are very very high and a longer list of countries who think america sucks and nothing is more satisfying to them than seeing an American Icon (sports and others) falter in a world stage!
a ten point victory by team USA just doesn't cut it IMHO. it feels as though any non-medal team that loses by ten points or less to Duncan and Co. , gives them the same satisfaction as the victors themselves.

corporate america may see it differently but the the rules of the game is what matters. The rules of the game state that to win, your team must score more points than the other team by the conclusion of the game. A win is a win. Margin of victory does not give you any bonus or advantage. Besides, if the US pulls off winning a gold medal, corporate america will be all over them, regardless of margin of victory.
Now when TD comes home with a gold medal, Wolves fan's excuses = they didn't win by enough gold points so the medal isn't really real.
