Yes you have no reason on why they are except the typical "I watch to much ESPN, and Texas has a Qb situtation."
I'd love to see you top10 and reasons why you put it how you will put it, and more than just "VY is gone now so texas will be a 8-4 team, which is all aggsy can come up with."

WVU will be in another major bowl this year - quite possibly the BCS championship. USC will have 2 losses, minimum. THEY are the ones ranked too high, IMHO.

Iowa is becoming the most consistently overrated football program in the nation.
Aside from Iowa, I can't complain with that top 10 though I see it a little different.
Wow... I'm completely down with that.
Good assessment, but you left out s.c.u. being too high as well. They aren't the 3rd best in the country - probably around 7. At this point I don't think THE University of Texas is the best team in the country, but we should not be any lower than 5.

...hmm, ok. thats easy...
1. ohio state=great offense with great leadership, defense will step up with new starters
2. USC=great offense, lacking same leadership, but defense should be very very good
3. florida=lots of talent, leak finally has some stability, and urban's second year
4. miami=great great defense, offense good enough
5. auburn=solid d and o
6. lsu=see above
7. west virginia= returning most of last years team
8. oklahoma=well, without bomar i am not sure yet
9. t.u.=great defense, offense should have very good running game
10. california=fastest offense in country, imo, and defense should be good enough
rankings are just opinions, not fact. the only thing i am waivering on from my original assessment is florida and oklahoma. btw, i do my rankings based upon how good i think the teams actually are, nothing to do with schedules...that does not make any sense. so while west virginia may go undefeated they are not better than a 1-2 loss florida, auburn, and lsu team, imo. and if west virginia does go undefeated and make it into the national championship game...they will get smoked, imo. thereby resting my case...
So much for good reasons........
