I have no idea what's wrong until I talk to Slomo or Mitja. However I'm aware that it's been going up and down and then running intermittenly for the last few hours.

Just for clarification.

The problem is with the internert uplinks in the datacenter where our server provider has its equipment racks. The problem is with the Databank network (http://www.databank.com/) and we haven't really received any reliable info about the nature of the problem and whether it is now fixed.

The good news is that the server itself is feeling just fine and currently has an uptime of: up 85 days, 1:04, 1 user, load averages: 0.68, 0.64, 0.65 - which is basically since the vBulletin clean up that we did after the initial database problems we had when we switched to this new machine.

Unfortunately since we don't know exactly what the problem is/was and are still waiting for the official anouncement that it has been fixed, some problems are still possible, so please bare with us and thanks for your patience.

It's not surprising Databank is one of the major datacenter providers in the US, they are also supposed to be among the best/most reliable. They are boasting that the system they have in place guarantees 100% uptime to their clients - well I guess it's 99% now
