Did Jonathan get a call?
Everyone at the office got a call last week from Bruce after he
got cut from the team.
He said sometimes you think you want something so much that you lose sight of what is really important in life. When you can't accomplish that goal, that goal that you thought would complete your life, you find out how many people will stand by you.
Will always be there wishing you well and supporting anything you try, whether or not the outcome is positive or negative. To take a risk is the greatest adventure. And then he just said thank-you, over and over to everyone. Thanking for the support and just being Bruce.
Awesome.
Did Jonathan get a call?
Bruce is an amazing person. I admire him a lot.![]()
Naw, remember he was fired last week.
Oh yeah.
That's the reason.

No, but Rasho did.
Dontcha just love Bruce Bowen as a human being? Forget what he's done for our franchise, the guy is an absolute gem of a man. He's been through the crap in life and he seems to truly understand what's important. More power to ya, Bruce.
I wonder where he will settle down after his NBA career ends?
Bruce knows he could defend anyone in the world, being cut from team USA was not about that. Bowen will get another ring or two before his time is up.
I think Bowen had the most heart out of anyone on that squad.

I think as a Portland fan you are talking player as in a rap song, yes?
Statement Regarding Zach Randolph
Since this matter is under investigation, out of respect for the legal process, we simply cannot comment at this time. Once we have all the facts, we will act accordingly. This is in response to the following statement issued by the Portland Police Bureau:
Late last week I received several calls about a possible criminal investigation involving Zach Randolph of the Portland Trail Blazers. At the time, for investigative reasons I was not able to confirm any information. The Police Bureau will now confirm that on August 14, 2006, an officer took a report of a sexual assault and that the report involved Zach Randolph. However, the Police Bureau is not identifying Zach Randolph as a suspect in the criminal investigation. This is an ongoing investigation and detectives are still interviewing potential witnesses.
Zach Randolph is represented by Portland attorney Stephen Houze. Houze had the following statement in regards to the investigation:
"It's completely inappropriate for any representative of the Portland Police Bureau to make a public comment while this matter is under investigation, suggesting in any way that Zach Randolph may be a suspect in this criminal investigation."
"Until such time that the police have completed the investigation and it has been reviewed by the district attorney's office for a determination of whether any person may be subject to criminal prosecution, such premature comments seriously risk biasing the investigation and damaging perhaps irreparably the good name of Mr. Randolph."
the good name of Mr. Randolph
Bruce Bowen is nowhere from being overrated. Name a reason why is he overrated.
Because he sucks ass. I don't know what he plays, but it ain't basketball.
He plays the best D in the league. Watch as he will shut out Roy.
Bruce is pure class all the way around. he is a true man and i'm just glad he's a part of the spurs franchise.
How would a Blazer fan know one way or the other?
That's stretching it a bit. I'm sure that Artest has something to say about that.
I think if Zach Randolph and Darius Miles were on Team USA, they would have been battling it out for team member with the most heart. Those two epitomize class!
Well for sure he's the top 3. With Artest and Big Ben.
ya bruce could never be jailblazer, his rap sheet ain't big enough
