Just turned on the game to see Fred knock the ball out of Weinke's hand even after he was double-teamed.
Go, go Fred Evans!
Fred causing ANOTHER fumble!
I might have to just end up getting me that Fred Evans jersey.

Here is my overall take on the game.
First off Daunte looked great out there. He seemed very comfortable. It was nice to see a QB that can move the ball down the field.
I think our defense did a fantastic job. We only gave up one long pass for about 32 yards. I think they did well stopping the run. And the Chambers pass interference call was questionable, but that is my biased opinion. Aside from two mistakes (the muffed punt by Welker and giving up a touchdown on special teams) we did phenominal. No Ints, and even Ronnie Brown completed a pass. We could have easily had 24 points on the board. Im no coach but I did not agree with Ronnie Brown up the middle from the 1 yard line, I would have like to see a PA fake then hit RB or Randy for a TD. All in all great game and a drastic improvement.
fleece in august?
That pic is from last year during winter. And it is always cold in my building (at work) so I have a fleece on hand at all times.
Daunte is the real deal. Now we have to find a 25 carry per game back that can get 100 yards each time. RB looks good but he still has a lot to prove.
you will need ball control, daunte turns it over a LOT.
Good news is we won the game and our 3rd string QB played very well.
Bad news...
Morris Violates Substance Abuse Policy
Dolphins backup running back Sammy Morris will be suspended for the first four games of the regular season for violating the league's steroid policy, his attorney said Thursday.
Morris tested positive for ephedrine on Oct. 17, 2005, the day after a 27-13 loss to the Buccaneers. Ephedrine is on the banned stimulant list of the NFL's Policy on Anabolic Steroids and Related Substances, which calls for a suspension for the first violation. The league's substance-abuse policy calls for admission into the program and counseling for first-time offenders.
Morris' attorney, David Cornwell, who helped draft the policies while employed by the NFL, said Morris had taken Sudafed, an over-the-counter cold remedy, to help combat his chronic sinusitis and upper respiratory disorders, and the positive results were due to inadequate testing by the laboratory.
Sudafed contains pseudoephedrine, which also violates the policy unless prescribed by a member of the team's medical staff. According to Cornwell, Dolphins trainer Kevin O'Neill confirmed during the appeals process that Morris ingested the Sudafed he prescribed on Oct. 16, and that he had treated Morris for the same condition on several other occasions.
Because the suspension applies only to the regular season, Morris started Thursday's exhibition game against the St. Louis Rams but left in the second quarter with an undisclosed injury to his left foot.
Dolphins spokesman Harvey Greene declined comment, citing the policy's confidentiality clause, and Morris was unavailable.

Can we get a RB to stay clean? This will be the 3rd season in a row we have problems at RB.
Man I cant wait for tomorrows game. I am dissapointed that Ben will not start. I would like to see where the Fins stand against the champs at full strength. I am still amazed that Daunte is able to start the first game of the season. When we first picked him up I was thinking mid-season. With Ben out I think we should win this one.
17-10 Fins.
The Dolphins will win by at least two scores. Charlie Batch will turn the ball over more times than they will score. Steeler's D won't be much of a help.
Dolphins 17
Steelers 14
Steelers D is very good and will keep them in the game but I think the dolphins well force batch to pass and plan around stopping the run from parker..If Daunte can make it through this game healthy it will do wonders for his confidence cause he is definatly going to go down quite a bit!!
He got a sack in his first nfl game (pre-season game)
they're doing good against the champs right now.
Dolphins considering Rogers
Unemployed wide receiver Charles Rogers has a new agent. Whether he'll soon have a new team remains to be seen.
The second overall selection in the 2003 draft, but released by the Detroit Lions on Sept. 2 after three seasons marred by injuries, inconsistency and a four-game league suspension in 2005 for a repeat violation of the NFL's substance abuse policy, Rogers auditioned on Tuesday for Miami Dolphins coaches and personnel officials, ESPN.com has confirmed.
There was no immediate feedback on Rogers' workout or any indication that the Dolphins planned to offer him a contract. But the three-year veteran is familiar with Nick Saban, who played a role in recruiting him to Michigan State, and the Miami head coach acknowledged when Rogers was cut by the Lions that he could have some interest in him.
Miami continues to seek a player who can stabilize the No. 3 wide receiver position behind starters Chris Chambers and Marty Booker. One player who could emerge in that role is third-year veteran Wes Welker, but Saban earlier this week noted that, while he likes his roster, it remains "a work in progress."
It's dubious whether Rogers would represent progress but, at just 25 years of age, and still possessed of enormous athletic talent, it seems just a matter of time until some NFL team provides him the opportunity to try to resurrect his career.
ESPN.com has learned that, prior to his Miami trip, Rogers spent some time speaking by phone with at least one professional who counsels NFL players on how to best present themselves in interview sessions. He also ended his relationship with agent Kevin Poston, who has represented him since he entered the NFL, and is expected to sign with agent Jason Fletcher of St. Louis.
Rogers, who went unclaimed on waivers after the Lions jettisoned him, has been advised that he may have to accept a minimum base salary to get back into the league and begin the process of trying to rebuild his career. Between bonuses and base salaries, Detroit paid Rogers $16.2 million in three years, but reaped little dividend from that investment. Rogers appeared in only 15 games, starting in just nine of them, and had 36 receptions for 440 yards and four touchdowns. He suffered broken collarbones in each of his first two seasons.
