    According to Fiba.com its on Wed Aug 30th at 7:30p. I'm assuming thats local time in Japan but not sure.

    Who cares it should be a blowout......Dirk alone isn't enough to help them win. Without Dirk, Germany would be one of the weakest teams in the tournament. Contain him and its game over. No way I get up early in the morning to watch this.

    exactly. the US is no match for the most dominant male athlete of all time. its too bad i cant sit courtside and fix this game too but oh well

    Hey, so the US is playing Germany, so here are my 2cents:

    It think US will win this game easily. Our guards are way too small and too weak to bother the US. I think Dirk will have his numbers and I actually hope he will... but only to prove that Bruce should be on Team USA instead of Battier. If Germany loses by less than 20 it will be okay for them.

    The real games for US will start against Greece/Arg/ ESP. Those are the only teams that might be strong enough to give themselfes a chance to win.

    Good luck to both teams...
