I don't think comparing the Spurs to any WNBA team would be a good example. Lets stick with NBA teams... Bulls, Lakers, Celtic, Rockets, etc.
Maybe they should take a WNBA team as an example:
Series Breakdown: Sacramento Monarchs (2) vs. Detroit Shock (2)

For the first time in the history of the WNBA, we will see a pair of two-seeds will off in the WNBA Finals. Sacramento is back in the Finals for the second straight season after winning their second Conference Championship against the top-seeded Los Angeles Sparks. The Monarchs are undefeated this postseason and have been most impressive this postseason. After a rocky start to the season, the Monarchs did not look like the defending champions until the start of the second half of the season, but the after rolling off a seven-game winning streak after the All-Star break, they cruised into the playoffs with the two seed. Despite a slight decline in Yolanda Griffith's scoring and rebounding numbers during the regular season, the 2005 WNBA Finals M.V.P. is still leading the Monarchs in their eighth straight postseason appearance. The Detroit Shock, who finished second in the East with a 23-11 record, breezed through their first round matchup against the Indiana Fever before defeating the first place Connecticut Sun in the Eastern Conference Finals in a classic three-game series. Detroit is making their second Finals appearance in franchise history. Back in 2003, the Shock won their first championship in franchise history as they defeated the Sparks in three games to take home the trophy. During the regular season, the Shock were led by center Cheryl Ford's 13.8 points and league-high 11.34 rebounds.

well it's hard enough to win just one, ask a dallas fan.
Why is it so hard for the Rockets to make the playoffs?
Maybe they should take a WNBA team as an example:

Both of these teams made the playoffs.
Take note, Louis.
Come on, Chump.
The Rockets are better than the Spurs because more than 10 years ago, the Rockets were able to win back-to-back les. Though they've only won 2 championships, it should be clear to anyone with half a brain that back-to-back les are monumentally more significant than 3 les over a 7 year span. I mean, look at the Celtics of the 80's: they never repeated -- for crissakes they only won 3 les in 6 years -- and EVERYONE knows that those Boston teams couldn't hold a candle to the Rockets of 1994 and 1995.
the fact still remains that.. the spurs have won 3 championships. that alone should give us enough reasons to be proud of our team. b2b or none.
repeating is a bonus.
some spurs fans are spoiled.
Are all the series in the WNBA played out in best-of-three format???
Why is Louis living in San Antonio and pretending to be a Rockets fan?
Why is Louis starting Troll threads all the time in the Spurs forum?
Louie Louie woooah woooah you gotta go
LOL...yep....Nevermind how they pulled it off when MJ was on vacation
90's rockets>current spurs and celtics combined
The Spurs can't repeat because Pop is the coach.
This should be moved to the WNBA or Leagues-With-Less-Than-15-Teams Forum.
It will be a sweet day when Louis starts a thread and nobody responds. A man can dream, can't he?
Definitely usenet Louis. We need a vbookie on the date of the first "mermaid" utterance.
i don't know... luck i guess and mismatches... but it could also be that he makes changes that's really not good for the team (eg... Hedo starting for Manu)
Nah . . . it's because Manu screws up (remember 0.4, remember Dirk's 3 point play).
Louis i'm tired of reading your worthless threads.. comparing wnba to spurs? i can't think of any comparisons worse than that..
What are you talking about, WNBA and the Spurs is a great analogy.
Only like 5 franchises in the NBA have repeated:
Lakes
Celtics
Rockets
Bulls
Pistons
????
I don't know if I'm missing anybody.
Note Rockets only got their two cuz MJ decided to retire. Oh and breaking news, Louis is a .
That's it. 5 Franchises. The Lakers actually won repeat championships in both cities they have played in... Minneapolis and Los Angeles.
