Like FIFA is, but with a "B" -- at least that's how I pronounce it.
I've seen the term "FIBA" in writing about a thousand times this summer, but every time I've heard the anyone talk about the games they've referred to them as the World Basketball Championship. So my question is how do you pronounce "FIBA"? Is that first "I" pronounced like the World Cup's "FIFA" making if fee-bah? Or is it pronounced like a Bostonian talking about his need for more bran, as in, "Sully needs to get more fibah in his diet. He was wicked constipated last night." Or does it just get pronounced as initials, "F.I.B.A."?
I freely admit that this is a dumb question, but it's one of those annoying thoughts that dug it's way into my brain and I have to get it out.

All other languages pronounce it "eee".
