Wow.
We were two people short for our fantasy fb league at work, so we put the word out via email, and ended up with two developers signing up to play in our league.
One of them ended up with the #2 pick overall.
With that #2 pick he chose....
wait for it
The Washington Redskins defense.
His reasoning was that he had lived in D.C. prior to moving to Dallas and followed the team closely, and felt the D would have a lot of time on the field with their offense. He figured their sack and int totals would be more consistent than other players.
I wish I could play him all 16 weeks, but that's one less person I have to worry about in our pool.
It's an interesting draft strategy -- reminiscent of the 14-team Yahoo league in which I play where the team that drafted #13 chose Brian Urlacher in Round 1 and Antonio Gates with the 16th overall selection.
so, fantasy "sports" are sports now too?
Almost like the dude that drafted Ronnie Brown first overall.
NOT in a dynasty league either.
