San Antonio Express-News
St. Mary's Hall of Fame member Henry Charles James, who played with a half dozen NBA teams during the 1990s including the Houston Rockets, has been charged in Fort Wayne, Ind., with dealing cocaine in the presence of six young children.
James, 41, regarded as one of the best basketball players in St. Mary's history, was inducted into the school's athletics Hall of Fame in 1998. A 6-foot-8 forward, he played for the Rattlers for two seasons, in 1986-87 and 1987-88. In his last season, he averaged 23.3 points and 7.6 rebounds a game.
James is accused of selling at least 5 grams of crack cocaine for $400 on two occasions. Police said he brought his six children, ranging in age from 3 months to 6 years, to his last deal. He was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and two counts of dealing cocaine.
