45-21 Usc
...one week till game. got some good defenses matching up and it should be, on paper, a pretty entertaining game. i do think, however, that USC will pull away comfortably. but it is always nice to play someone in the top 25.
USC 37
NU 14
Nebraska 38
Southern Cal 31
I'd put Nebraska's defensive front 7 up against anyone in the country, but our secondary is below average. 3 of 4 are first year starters, and 3 of 4 second string are true freshmen. I'm curious to see how our offense will perform. I really think we'll score some points. Our secondary will get exposed against one of the best recieving corps in the nation, but our defensive line and linebackers will apply constant pressure on Booty forcing him into bad passes.
Nebraska 30
usc 24
are you serious?
Nebraska wont even come close
USC has not lost at home since Carroll's third game as coach. thats:
1. 2001
2. against Oregon
3. and the game was 24-22
...nebraska is NOT coming into LA and beating USC on their home field. in fact, its not even going to be close. it would not be close if it were in Lincoln either. but that should not suggest Nebraska is not a good team...no matter what happens.
I would like the Huskers to win for the Big 12 but I just don't see it happening.
...though i think USC will win handily, i am shocked the find the line on the game is 3 TOUCHDOWNS! geez, nebraska is #19 in the country....i suppose thats what i get for USC beating arkansas 50-14 when the line was 7.5. probably won't be betting on this game, then.
That is a bit high...sounds like they are going more on last year than this year.
As a Husker, I have to believe we will win. It will take Nebraska playing a near perfect game and USC having a bad day. In all honesty, I believe USC is ranked appropriately and should be in line to play for the national championship again this year, reguardless if they lose to Nebraska or not. This will be a true measuring stick for Nebraska. I wish Jones would have kept his mouth shut though. You don't win games by talking in the newspaper.
...just b/c other teams cannot stop our backups does not mean he is running it up. there is nothing like game-time to prepare younger players; game is much better than practice. now a coach that really runs up the score is Spurrier, but i have said it once and i will say it again...."i LOVE it." its ing football, its a game. if you're going to cry about getting your ass kicked then you should not be playing...plain and simple. not only that, but my favorite line ever...and it happens to be by Spurrier, "not my fault they can't stop us."
I don't see Carroll as a run-it-up guy. Spurrier, yes.
...ahh, the voice of reason. be careful though Sam, you don't want someone splooging on your face.
Close. USC wins 28-10
i was at the Army v. A&M game (flashbacks of baylor two years ago), but got to monitor the USC Nebraska game. LOL, what complete domination. you gotta love the way SC's defense is playing right now...they were fantastic. however, i expected the offense to put up a few more points (predicted a 23 point win). but SC made too many mistakes @ critical points. all in all, it was a good win for SC.
...love that the nebraska corner predicted a win, i also seem to remember some nebraska fans that did as well...hmm, wonder what they are up to? ha ha.
It wasn't really complete domination. Nebraska did pretty damn good most of the game but they don't have the talent as USC does.
nebraska had 200 yards of offense to USC's 400...thats domination.
usc's running defense looks ty, but their OL was protecting that assclown booty and made him look like some kind of star
brian cushing is soooo fun to watch. you can tell this young ass chode will be haunted for years about diving for vince young and barely touching his shoe lace, giving up a touchdown![]()
Good job to USC on the well-deserved win.
Overall, i'm not too dissapointed. We played hard against one of the top teams in the nation the entire game, and earned praise from the Trojans to that respect. I'm mainly suprised at our play calling...I still trust Callahan, but we just didn't get the passing game going at all. Being a NU fan I know the benefits of a strong running game, but i'm very suprising at how much we ran the ball.
I see no reason from this game why Nebraska can't jump back, run the table on the North and possibly the Big XII, and make a compe ive effort in Kansas City.
you mean run blocking? b/c SC held nebraska to 69 rushing yards on 36 carries, i'd say thats pretty good. in fact the whole SC defense was GREAT.
as for the offense, well they seemed to sleep walk through the game and still won by 18....i'll take it. far from their potential. the SC running game was 31 rushes for 142 yards...i'd say that was pretty decent as well.
...so basically, i think you have no idea what your talking about. and Booty played very very well, again.
You OBVIOUSLY didn't see the game.
As I'd said before, when ALL is said & DONE SC will have at least 1 loss.
Husker fans very classy unlike a certain wannabe Trojan.
They joined the SC fans in giving RP an o when he was carted off the field.
...i did see the game, not all of it, but a good portion. and USC kicked the crap out of nebraska...and they did it playing sloppy. only good things to look forward to here, for the Trojans. they will NOT have any losses going into their bowl game. nothing that i said in the previous post is erroneous...
When all is said & done SC will not be undefeated.
C'mon, it isn't like SC will play any top 10 teams like say, UT.....UT played a top 10 team, or even better, the top team.
