Here is a rundown of what that jackass has done so far this young season on College Gameday:
1. Predicted California would win the national championship. They proceeded to get drilled by Tennessee in game 1.
2. Played to the crowd at Miami by picking UM to beat FSU. Wore the UM mascot head and waved to the crowd like a total tool. UM proceeded to lose to FSU.
3. His “Intriguing Matchup of the Week” this week was UCF vs. Florida. Predicted Florida would be looking ahead to their next game and that UCF was a talented team. Herbstreit and Fowler sat there with question marks over their heads as Florida proceeded to beat UCF 42-0.
4. Picked UT to beat Ohio State by putting on an inflatable UT helmet and waving a stuffed bevo doll in Fowler’s face and playing to the crowd. You know how that turned out.
He's a failed bit...keep an out for more signs in the background about him too...

He's screwed...![]()
Hahaha...hadn't seen that one!! Do you know when/where that was?
True...but that is what makes College Gameday entertaining!
So what? That's the Gameday M.O. Corso plays to the home team wherever they go for Gameday, and Herbstreit either agrees or takes the road team.2. Played to the crowd at Miami by picking UM to beat FSU. Wore the UM mascot head and waved to the crowd like a total tool. UM proceeded to lose to FSU.

Doesn't make him a joke, it's all part of the Gameday show.
Does B/CS still hate Corso? I know they used to.
Exactly...he acts like a jackass, but he can't take a little joking around during a radio interview? He's a walking bit but he's also a hypocrite...
No one has pointed out that Corso picked Montana State to beat CU.

"ESPN analyst Lee Corso picked Montana State’s win Saturday as his surprise of the day during Saturday’s night’s College Gameday Final show, and his co-host Kirk Herbstreit pointed out that Corso spoke at MSU’s Golden Triangle Banquet the night before MSU’s spring game in Great Falls last April."

Unless Leonard has simply failed to disclose to us that he's on salary at 1310, I'm thinking he has an almost-unhealthy desire to pimp that station's inside jokes.
I honestly couldn't care less about a Dallas sports talk radio station. But, it's hard to ignore Leonard's ubiquitous Ticket references and links.
Hahahaha, definitely not on salary...
1310 = genius

So in other words, he doesn't know either.
Yeah, I have no idea what Leonard was trying to say there. Amazingly, he managed to pimp that radio station again.

I'm lost...what did I say that you don't understand?
Normally if I post anything about The Ticket it's a head's up on an interview that's coming up, or maybe a fake interview because it's funny. Although, the sense of humor around this place is severely lacking...
The Ticket doesn't need me to "pimp" it...
I didn't understand if your post was disavowing any financial connection between yourself and your favorite radio station.
I don't ever listen to the Ticket and I suspect most around here don't. I'm not sure why you insist on advertising its programming to us, even if you think it's the greatest thing in the whole world. And I'm particularly not sure why you have such a desire to relentlessly tease the Ticket's inside jokes around here. I suspect that people who live in Dallas are more likely to share your joy at the inside jokes played on Lee Corso and others.
I'll leave it at that. I can't stop you from your Ticket pimping. If you find some joy in doing it, go right ahead. I just think it's very, very strange.
P-1's pimp the Ticket damn near everywhere they can - it's part of the culture. They put up a BaD radio sign in Atlanta - a San Antonio-based message board is probably considered a slow moving target.
I like the ticket, too.
