Is this thread really official?
Hey guys,
it is now less than a month till the Spurs come to Europe. We Euros can use this thread to bring together all the information about the happening.
Maybe somebody (Kori?!) knows if the Spurs (or a few of them) are going to have an autograph signing session or something like that. I does not happen very often having the Spurs that close.
So, who is going and are you as excited as I am?

Is this thread really official?
It's not official until someone comes along and capitilizes that o.
Can you post a schedule of their trip?
I have a series of trips in Europe planned for October, so I might even be close enough to come to one of the games.
You all should have a Euro GTG.
Spurs crushing Maccabi Tel Aviv by no less than 15.-
Hope that Pop take this seriously.
Gus.-
I don't know of any autograph sessions, etc yet, but here's the games that are in other countries.
October 5 Philadelphia vs. Winterthur FC Barcelona (Barcelona, Spain)
San Antonio vs. Adecco Asvel (Lyon, France)
October 6 Phoenix vs. Lottomatica Roma (Rome, Italy)
L.A. Clippers vs. BC Khimki (Moscow, Russia)
October 7 L.A. Clippers vs. CSKA (Moscow, Russia)
October 8 San Antonio vs. Maccabi Elite (Paris, France)
October 10 Miami Heat vs. Detroit Pistons (San Juan, Puerto Rico)

Anybody going to the Cologne tournament?
The million dollar question is, under what n rules are they playing? FIBA or NBA rules?
Looking at the rosters of the Foreign teams, the 76ers might actually lose
I would have loved to go but I decided to see the Spurs in Paris instead.![]()
Cologne has a nice arena and it might be fun watching AI, Amare, Nash, Marion,... but the Spurs are... the Spurs...![]()
Money money money

Oooops my bad, I assumed since it said NBA LIVE Tournament, that the Spurs would be there also.
Yeah only Paris is interesting, I'm not sure if i can make it their on that date - but I'll definitely try.
Any idea how difficult it is to get tickets? (is it expected to be sold out?)

But now in reality it is like this --->![]()
Well Streaky, I can tell you that on Saturday the day before the game, Tony's lifelike looking statue will be revealed at Madame Tusseaud in Paris.
Afterwards there will be a private party and the entire Spurs team is scheduled to be there.
And guess what?
I got news yesterday that I AM INVITED TO THE PARTY!!!
![]()
Wow, lucky you!!! Have a lot of fun!!! This is really awesome...
Hope you tell me how it was afterwards.
P.S: Do you need somebody who goes there with you?![]()
the name of the Mme Tusseaud in Paris is Musée Grévin![]()
And nothing is sure but Tony promised![]()
I'm catching the game with a buddy who works at the US Embassy in Paris.
I may have a spare pair (Porte P, Row 6). Great seats. Face value 288E for the pair. Looking to break even. I'll be getting to Paris on the 5th from Wash DC.
E-mail me if you're interested.![]()
Interested yes, but thats about $366.00 USD, too much for my blood.
Yeah, them prices for that game in Paris are rediculous.
I would be excited just to be around gorgeous European men, whoops off topic.![]()
Well, I am hitting the road tomorrow to go to Paris! Does anybody have any hints where the team well be at what time? Something like an open practise, an autograph session or something like that? Would be cool if the french poster could help out with some insider info...I will post pictures, when I am back. Hopefully I can meet with alamo50 before or after the game. Kori did the international Spurs fan thing with me, so if somebody on this board sees and recognizes me at the game, just say "Hallo".
I wish all who are going a lot of fun!!! I will have internet in Paris so I will check back frequently...
Streaky
