what a moron
I failed.
Man, I thought if I just did some good guessing I would have passed. I guess I have to study now.
Stay off a motorcycle...The rules of engagement are far less forgiving....
I only needed to miss 6 for a passing grade. I missed 12. Some of the questions were pretty hard.
An old man with a white cane leans to cross the street, he pulls back, what do you do?

Sorry I couldn't resist![]()
Dude you get on the sidewalk and run him the over, he's old and blind and shouldn't be out in the street anyway.
In what state do they ask that question?
I failed the written part of my driving test 3 times. Yes, that is the maximum number of times you can fail it before you have to wait 90 days to take the test again. No shame, baby. I did the home school crap and did nothing, clearly. But seriously, do not tell me all of the questions are common sense, because they're not. Who knows how long skid marks are going to be if you're going 'x' speed while slamming on your breaks at 'x' point. Screw you.
California.
yeah i was kiddin. i failed twice in a row. you not only have to study, you have to be lucky not to get the ing trick questions. DMV assholes
last time I saw one the study manual was only like 3" x 5" X 1/4"...and they pretty well give you the answers to the test...I guess it's safe to assume you guys didn't read the booklet?
Yeah, I didn't read that yellow thing.
I failed the first time I took it because I didn't even look at the book. I passes the 2nd time with ease.![]()
While I was waiting in line I was reading it. I didn't really help.
Good lord people.......the driving test is a gimme.
If you use common sense you can almost pass the test without reading the pamphlet.
Being from Virginia, I believe it was required to take Driver's Ed before you could graduate.
You people don't know the rules of the road and want a license? I don;t want to hear you in' about bad drivers.
I failed once by one question.. my second i passed it with 2 questions left...
but I never studied.. haha so joke's on other people..
But yeah, some questions get really stupid.. like the Fines questions
re ed.
I passed the first time but I had to guess on several.
OMG, and you called me an idiot in another thread?![]()
In Toronto you gotta pass 3 tests to get your full license. 1st test is computer/written, second is road test (parallel parking, 3-point, reverse parking), and third test is the highway test + the 2nd test stuff.
My final test is next Friday and I haven't entered a car in a month![]()
Ha, there was no parallel parking on my test. I drove down the road, and came back and I had a license.![]()
The only part of the test I did not pass was the parallel parking.
I was only given 3 turns of the wheel and only got partially in and the tester said to continue to the street for the rest of the driving test.
I think I have only used parallel parking 3 or 4 times since I got my license in 1979.
Actually....the hardest part in learning to drive for me was the license itself...it was learning to drive a standard and using a clutch, especially on a steep hill. I was constantly stalling the car because my timing of the clutch and gas were off. Took me awhile to get the hang of it.
My current license I had to take 5 written tests and a driving test.
Ah... the driving test....
I remember I went to the TXDPS center to obtain an I.D. so that I would be able to board a plane (for an internship with NASA back when I was 16).
I saw that the price for a license was about 6 dollars more so I said, "ehhh might as well try"...
I sat down and took the written portion... some of the weirder questions were actually solved by using some basic physics equations... (... I know).
I ended missing only two questions... One of which, I still remember (is it legal to make left turns into one way streets on a red light? ---- yes)
Anyways, after my picture was taken the officer said, now be back here tomorrow at 9:00 for the driving portion of the exam...
I'd completly forgotten about that part of the test.... and spent the better portion of the day taking a crash course in drivers' ed.
I passed...
Dude, you must be in special ed.
