I've tried a couple expensive tequilas ($100 shots), but I always find myself ordering Cazadores.
A couple of friends and myself just finished polishing off a bottle of this:

That tequila is really smooth and gives a nice clean buzz... what is the best tequila out there? Or Vodka, Scotch, etc?

Patron Silver
Chilled
I tend to like Patron or Tres Generaciones for smoother tequilas. Pepe Lopez is the bottom end of the scale, talk about vomit fuel.
Best vodka is that one that has the grape aftertaste. Forget what it's called. Grey goose is best for dirty martinis as well.
Scotch is disgusting and I don't drink it, so I have no preference.
gots to be the grey goose l'orange....gots to be!
grape after taste? wha? i gots to get in on that!
It's called Ciroc, I just looked it up. My friend told me about it and some of us bought a bottle. Man, that stuff was GONE and he smirnoff that we had left over was sooo subpar in comparison. Pricey but worth every penny if you have a splurge night.

Patron is by far the best liquor I ever tasted. I only recently had it too and man I was so damn impressed with how smooth it goes down.
It left no need for a lime for the after taste.
I'm a vodka girl and specifically like Grey Goose, Ketel One and Stolichnya. I'm often drawn to Skyy90 and level, as well, but mostly because the bottles are pretty.
scrombone!! where the have you "bean"...
For those of you who like Patron... try the Herradura once if you haven't already. I used to drink Patron but I liked this one better... especially the anejo since it's aged and very smooth. No lime needed unless you just like the flavor of lime.
Vodka - Ketel One and Grey Goose.
Whisky - Crown Reserve - pretty basic but smooth.
Herradurra is outstanding. I also was drinking that with some friends last night (picked up a bottle of anejo for like $25 in Mexico). My favorite is Don Julio anejo. Patron tastes like gasoline to me, and has gotta be the most overrated liquor in the world.
crown reserve is nice, i like a bottle of glenfiddich 12 year or 18 year old for scotch, very smooth. i found a pretty good gin for $14.99 too - broker's. add a dash of bitters to either and you have a very nice sipping drink on the rocks. pink gin = outstanding, the bitters really bring out the juniper and five star anise flavors.
for Vodka, this is by far my favorite
Crown Special Reserve is allways a good choice
and the Bullblasters will put me down for the count.
but of course the back to back 42 ounce Crown and Cokes will do that too, right Kori??
oh !! that's my drink!!!
not only does it give you a nice clean buzz, if you drink enough of it it will give you a high few liquors can. Not a stupid drunk high, but u still can think clearly but clearly u are drunk. and no hangover whatsoever.
I drink the white one ususally though. It's the best tequila a little expensive but worth it.
Only clearly better tequila is DON JULIO
Liquor makes me an angry, violent drunk. I tend to stay away. But if I do decide to make a beast of myself I always go with Hornitos tequila. That's my father's favorite tequila so I drink it in honor of him.
This stuff is excellent too, if you wanna blow $100 on a bottle of booze.
Never tried this Remy Martin, since it's $1600 a bottle.
What the bottle of liquor is worth $1600? Seriously?
thats insane. for $1600 you could get an 8-ball and still have cash left for about 4 super-hot hookers
Turtle Dew
Sauza Tres Generaciones used to be my favorite and then I tried this:
Good stuff and only 18 bucks at the HUETA on the Hidalgo/Reynosa bridge.
Speaking of margaritas, what is everyone's perfect combination of Tequila, Grand Marnier / Cointreau, fresh lime juice, and sugar? I always just do it by taste, but that's difficult making more than a couple at a time.
tullamore dew? the 12 year old is quite good.
