I don't usually go for the suspense/ horror type films, but Misery is a great movie.
I have never been able to look at Kathy Bates the same way since I saw her as Annie.
I hope she is just a superb actress.

I have yet to see that part of the movie. My first time watching, my kind sister warned me in advance. Now I just switch channels at that point.
I have never read it. I'll have to go find a copy.

Well yes, a well written King novel is always going to trump a two-hour movie, but I enjoy watching Misery whenever it's on!
Great ing movie.
Kathy Bates is one of those women you wish was better looking.
Kathy is just your average American cow, daring you to discover if there is any value behind all the blubber.

That sledge hammer scene is as cringeworthy as watching Jackass for the first time a few years ago.

Whenever I hear a sports announcer say that a player has been hobbled by a nagging injury, I just laugh and say, "wellllllllllll, that ain't nothing compared to being hobbled by a Bates Hobbling."
