A better name for this thread is I hate nba refs. Wade didn't make those calls.
4) During the 2006 NBA playoffs, Dwyane Wade attempted 48 free throws vs. Chicago (six games), 53 vs. New Jersey (five games) and 52 vs. Detroit (six games). How many free throws did Wade attempt vs. Dallas in the NBA Finals (six games)?
36.9% 66
21.0% 77
18.5% 84
13.7% 50
9.9% Correct Answer: 97
Wade's 97 attempts were the most in any 6-game series in NBA playoff history.

lets hope so
all of whiny ass Mavericks fans. You lie by the refs, you die by them too, and karma owed you game 5 after the horse calls you got in games 2,3, & 4 of your series against the Spurs. That NBA Finals went so perfectly. That had to be one bitter ass pill for you hypocrites to swallow, seeing what made you bring you right back down. Game 5 of the Finals is the hardest I've ever cheered for a team I hated.
A hypocite yourself. You tell the Mavs fans to quite whining about calls, yet you wanna say yall got some bull calls.![]()
This is kinda lame though. the Mavs fan who started this thread. That was 3 months ago. You can't keep living in the past or you might as well be a Spur fan.
He's not whining. The Mavericks and their owner are the ones who wanted this pansy NBA, and after it helped them beat us, they found out what it was like to get -slapped by it.
See that's what I'm talking about.
So I'm asking the Spurs fans: The Mavs didn't have anything to do with their win against yall? It was the refs? If you all say yes, that's just hypocritical of yall. Just mad there's a new toast of the town.![]()
Nice ignorance. Yes because all Spurs fans think alike! So I'm asking the Spurs fans: The Mavs didn't have anything to do with their win against yall? It was the refs? If you all say yes, that's just hypocritical of yall. Just mad there's a new toast of the town.
Anyone blaming refs is chicken . Your team wins or loses because of their own actions period. I do think that it is funny that there are Mavs fans (some, not all...I am not so ignorant as to believe ALL Mavs fans think alike) that called out (and still do) Spurs fans(called out all, not just those who did..again, ignorance) for who whined (not "whinned" as some of you losers like to spell it) during the Mavs-Spurs series...then did the EXACT same thing (and some still do) during the Finals.
Let me ask you, Mav fan, for those who rip Spurs fans for whining about officiating...why is it ok for a Mav fan to do it but not a Spurs fan?
i voted for 66 but i didnt realize it was really 97, DAMN!
Everyone already knows Wade got plenty of phantom calls.....Why are you acting like this is news.
Quit crying like a little , every team in last years playoffs got ed by calls. Training camp is right around the corner and this is still on your mind? Buck up and get ready for this season you little pussy.
STFU
the mavs had more fouls called on them in that series, and Duncan was constantly getting away with all kinds of garbage. much more than Dirk. the mavs simply outplayed the Spurs. no question.
Hate to say it, but even I can agree with that. I mean what did Dirk shoot for the series? Like 98% from the field? With the rest of the team shooting 75%? It was a good series, I cant believe it came down to a re ed foul by Manu in game 7 with Dallas playing as good as possible.
Both teams played well in the WCSF, but the difference is the Mavs were able to get to the rim more effectively and score easy baskets. The Spurs defense wasn't it's usual good self due to bad match ups. The Mavs exploited the match ups the way a good team does (the way the Spurs do too) and were able to pull ahead by a nose at the finish line. Good series, bad ending for us. But this is September. It's Cowboys and 'Horns time. Save this for November.
You can honestly tell me Duncan fouled Dirk when Dirk stepped on Tim's foot?
