Theres a new advert with Billups, KG, Arenas, Tmac and Timmy for Adidas.
It's called 5ive. I saw it linked on the dimemag blog.

i don't really care much about the style bec what i look for a shoe is comfort and support.
so, is this new shoe good enough to support Tim's plantar fasciitis and we can breath for good 82-season games and possibly playoffs?

Plantar fasciitis causes pain on the plantar surface of the heel and the the inner side of the bottom of the foot. I saw this a couple of weeks ago, and was fairly unimpressed. I was expecting much more from the group of superstars invloved. You have Timmy, Billups, KG, Tmac, and Arenas ... and you show their hands?
I hope there is some sort of follow-up that is much better.

Exactly, plus it's his hand for the ad campaign on the adidas website. How cool is that? Still, when I heard he was filming a commercial this summer, I was hoping we'd get to see more of him. But I like it.They saved the best for last.

Rather pedestrian ad campaign if that's all it is. As someone mentioned, I hope there is a series of ads that make it a little more entertaining than showing T-Mac's broke fingered hand and Arenas not knowing how to speak. Gilbert sounded re ed.
Arenas is an up-and-coming star, but he doesn't quite fit with three superstars and a former Finals MVP. Bring Kobe back to Adidas so he can be the fifth.

I was thinking more of like Duncan and KG in the low post, T-mac and GA and Billups in the backcourt as a great team.
Lame ing commercial. They really should have allowed the players to read from a script. There's only such eloquence or depth that comes out of superstar athletes.
With that said, I'm glad TD got the "impossible to up" line.
