VERO BEACH, Fla. Oct 27, 2004 — An anti-John Kerry demonstrator was charged with felony aggravated assault with a gun for allegedly pointing a weapon at the head of a Kerry supporter.

Michael Garone, 52, was released from jail Tuesday on his on recognizance.

Garone and others were holding anti-Kerry signs at a street corner Monday in Vero Beach when Trevor Pickering drove up and said "Go Kerry," according to an arrest affidavit.

Pickering argued with the anti-Kerry protesters, and then got out of the car and knocked a sign out of the hands of one of the demonstrators.

"That's when (Garone) walked up to my car and stuck a gun to my head," Pickering said. "I said 'I'm sorry' and 'Please don't kill me,' drove away and called the cops."

Also, it looks like Aggie Hoops Fan won't be getting laid for a while...

    Associated Press

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - An 18-year-old supporter of President Bush became so angry that his girlfriend was considering voting for John Kerry and was breaking up with him that he imprisoned her in his home, deputies said.

Steven Soper of Lake Worth was charged with aggravated battery, false imprisonment and resisting arrest without violence. He was being held at the Palm Beach County Jail without bond until a mental health assessment is completed.

Soper began pushing and shoving 18-year-old Stacey Silviera Tuesday night when she came to his house to return some of his personal items, deputies said.

"I kill you," he said, according to the arrest report. "You want (to) live to see the election?"

He held her with a screwdriver and a shard from a broken pot while a deputy tried to separate them, said Paul Miller, a spokesman for the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

Of course he's republican, because the story said it was so.

Dan, the same kind of person you call a "wacko" in your first article you defended earlier this week and last week for all the they were doing to Bush supporters.

You can't have it both ways pal, your name isn't John Kerry.

So a couple crimes of passion, with the first story posted directly resulting from an argument the alleged victim started. Doesn't excuse the alleged transgression, if true, but that's a bit different than having coordinated efforts to storm an opposing candidate's offices, vandalize them, or shoot them up.

I've yet to see one instance of an organized attack on a Kerry campaign office anywhere. Not surprising, since the Demos' basic argument is that 'your is mine.' They don't respect individual rights to free expression and property if it isn't theirs.

Dan, I give up... you win. You've proved you need the medications more than I do. Give me your address and I'll email them to you.

Carnie dude, why are you laughing at my post count? I get credit for all my personalities.
