Some of those guys are not so young anymore- must you really subject them to a five game series?![]()
Which is the best in a 5 game series?
Bulls First Team
Michael Jordan: Guard
Scottie Pippen: Forward
Bob Love: Forward
Artis Gilmore: Center
Norm Van Lier: Guard
Spurs First Team
Tim Duncan: Forward
David Robinson: Center
George Gervin: Guard
Johnny Moore: SG
Sean Elliott: SG
James Silas: G
Avery Johnson: PG
Robert Horry: Forward
Its hard with the guards you pick the spurs guards

Alvin Robertson as the point guard. That guy was a beast.
I'll take the team with eight guys over the team with five guys. I also wouldn't ever put AJ and Elliott on the team ahead of Gino and Parker.
Bulls
Norm Vanlier >> Steve Kerr
Michael Jordan >> Reggie Theus
Scottie Pippen >> Jerry Sloan
Dennis Rodman >> Bob Love
Artis Gilmore >> Bill Cartwright
Not sure you can leave out Dennis Rodman or Jerry Sloan especially.
Don't forget about Tony Chew and Will Perdon't.
Alvin was not a point guard......he was a 2-guard.
I think for the Spurs, it would be like:
C - Dave
PF - Tim
SF - Manu?
SG - George Gervin
PG - Tony Parker

I think putting Horry on there is a stretch, but ok.
what about larry kenon, mike mitc and why should chicago get gilmore, he was a spur as well.....
5 v 8? Classic offseason thread
Is this really a serious thread? The Spurs myopia is evident considering there's 5 Bulls (not even the 5 best Bulls) and 8 Spurs (not even the 8 best Spurs).
As mush as I love my SPurs..I'll pick the team with Michael Jordon
