You won't be able to purdy soon. Manny has the specifics.
For a newbie that just wants to have fun. Don't want to have to input more than 50 bucks.

thats why i wanna start. just want to see what the fuss is all about before it may be taken away.
didn't they ban online gambling?![]()
I really don't see what the problem was in the first place.
I haven't played in so long, I think I've forgotten how to.
I'm going to become a live pro.![]()
A live pro living in San Antonio??
a opposed to becoming a dead one?![]()
that. Although I could probably make enough at games here, I'd probably get robbed before long or shot.
Manny, I entered a 8.00+.80 satelite tourney to a 200+16 tourney today. There were 112 entered and the top 4 got the entry. I was chip leader when we got to final 5(after 3 hr 20 mins) and got the entry when the 5th guy went out.![]()
I play at 6pm on Sunday, so check it out if you are online there.
Yeah, what a concept. Imagine that...
Sincerely,
Richard Lee
The "problem" is, someone didn't want it, got a bagman to pay off a bunch of congressmen, and voila, no internet gambling (that they know of).
I'm sorry, I should of said "Open up an illegal gambling website"
And ask him how thats working out for him
Awesome dude. You always seem to do well in satellites. Any specific strategies you have?
Play mostly quality hands, and you must get lucky a few times. I only had 1 bad beat. I lost to a flush when I had A 8 spades in BB and caught two 8s on the flop. The player to my left was only one in the hand with me. There were 2 hearts on the flop, so I bet twice the pot size, but the guy called and caught another heart on the turn. I bet the turn, he called and then we both checked the river and he showed Q-10 hearts. I lost to another flush when we both caught our cards on the river, I filled my straight and he caught the flush. I bet 360 on the river and he raised to 720, I knew he had me, but called the raise and lost.
I got lucky twice. The first time, I had 10-10, bet 300% of the blinds, got 2 callers. The flop was 9,8 and 2. I bet twice the pot, the player to my left went all in with less chips than I had, the other guy folded. I called, thinking he had a PP, flush draw or straight draw. He showed 8-8. I caught the 10 on the river though.

The next time, I had KK, bet 400% the blinds, the big stack called, The flop had an ace, I went all in, he showed A-10, I caught another King on the turn.![]()
Lucked out twice and you need that in those big tourneys.
But the main thing is go with your instincts and lay down hands if you know you are beat, and do not play Q -10s or K Js to big raises before or after you.
Jim, I know how to play poker, I was wondering if you had any satellite MTT specific strategy you use cause I always remember you winning those.
Anyhow, hope you did well tonight.
Pacific Poker. Check it out.
manny you were much more personable before you became Chris Moneymaker jr
I think its time for an intervention
Bring me brats and weed and I'll be as personable as you want.
Dude johnsonville brats--if you're into stock market gambling, put some money in johnsonville, their brats are having a breakthrough season. More ads both on tv and on radio, and they're always almost sold out at the store.
