damm to late
...should be interesting. i knew the o-line for the Cardinals was not going to be great, but i did not think they would be this bad.
even so, i think Leinart will do well considering:
1. his first NFL start
2. the o-line is horrible
3. playing KC
...i am thinking the best QB in the draft will have #s to the tune of 225 yards passing 1 TD 1 INT. thoughts?

Leinart's going to be horrible. Absolutely horrible.
KC's got one of the best defenses in the league so far.even so, i think Leinart will do well considering:

Leinart will struggle the next two weeks (KC and Chicago), then start looking like a good QB...
he can not be worse then warner

He got hit and fumbled before he could hand the ball off against a very average ATL team this last weekend. He'll have another horrible game. Rookie QBs with bad teams don't play well. Ever. Veteran QB's with bad teams very rarely play well, and never consistently. He won't have 200 yards and will probably have at least two or three turnovers. TD?? No.

you misunderstand, all i am saying is that the odds are stacked against Leinart doing well his first game...pretty high. therefore 200+ yards 1td 1int is a damn good game, whereas if he was playing a lesser defense i would think he'd do even better. whats so hard to understand about that?
btw, San Fran is not as good as Arizona...and San Fran played horribly that game. make no mistake i am not saying Arizona is going to win, but, all things considered i think Leinart will do VERY well.

Leinart with two TDs in the first quarter of his FIRST game. not bad; 6-7 passing for 89 yards as well.

The offensive line is actually giving them a "decent" amount of time to throw the ball.
