The two-year pro out of Memphis has battled various injuries during his short NBA career.

Wagner, 21, played only 44 games last season after undergoing knee surgery. He appeared in just 47 games as a rookie, but still scored 13.4 points per game.

Wagner netted 6.5 points per game last year while playing alongside rookie phenom LeBron James and has totaled 10.1 points a contest for his career.

The sixth overall pick in the 2002 draft, Wagner sprained his ankle during the pre-season and could begin the year on the injured list.

Cleveland, which barely missed out on the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs last year, opens the season next Wednesday against Indiana.
