You should try and swerve to avoid them.
WTF? They're all over my windshield and the front of my car, it's pissing me off. I really don't like killing them and I don't like them putting me in such an uncomfortable driving situation. ing butterflies.
You should try and swerve to avoid them.
I'm sorry but I only break and swerve to animals.
I keep a score of how many I kill... I get home and count them and write it down if it breaks my previous score.
Be afraid when you see a truck swerving to hit butterflies....
JB why would you suggest such a thing.....
To see who would be the first person to not realize it was a sarcastic joke.

I knew you were playing you i just felt like posting that.
I can deal with plowing through them on the road, but I have a bush just outside my front door that those little ers love to eat off of. If I so much as breath too hard while going past the bush, I get completely engulfed in a swarm of little butterflies.
The butterflies give it more character.

Bad idea. Several years ago when the butterflies were especially bad, my ex-husband totalled my car trying to avoid them.![]()

I keep forgetting not to run my wipers after they splat on my windshield. Now I have two perfect semicircles of butterfly paste.
Exactly.
I scrape them off and boil them. It makes a nice tea.
Wow, your ex-husband is a ing idiot........but hey, you married him.
It's going to get worse - I hear the Monarchs are coming soon...
hmmm...was that in September of '96? That was the last time these little ers were this bad. it's the combination of long drought + recent rain + new elm tree shoots to lay eggs on...next will come the little caterpillars everywhere.
"to" animals????

I'm already forwarding the post to PETA.
Yep ... my daughter was 13 months old and I was I was 5 months pregnant with my son. And had no car.![]()
For animals, you know what I meant!
That's not something I'd ever argue.
I remember that summer. It never stopped. Those swarms came in droves and covered everything. At times there were so many smacking into the windshield it sounded like hail.
