SacbeeThe latest Sacramento resident to be questioned by federal agents in possible threats against President Bush is a 14-year-old girl with a heart on her backpack and braces on her teeth, a freckle-nosed adolescent who is passionate about liberal politics and cute movie stars.
Her name is Julia Wilson, and she learned a vivid civics lesson Wednesday when two Secret Service agents pulled her out of biology class at McClatchy High School to ask about comments and images she posted on MySpace.
Beneath the words "Kill Bush," Julia posted a cartoonish photo-collage of a knife stabbing the hand of the president. It was one of a few images Julia said she used to decorate an anti-Bush Web page she moderated on MySpace, the social networking Web site that is hugely popular among teenagers.
... The couple are disturbed, however, that federal agents questioned a child at school -- without her parents present. And First Amendment lawyers question whether the Secret Service over-reacted to a 14-year-old's comments on a Web site made for casual socializing.
Just a little reminder of what cons ues free speech and what cons ues a threat these days.
All this is is some dumb little who doesn't know thier hind parts from a hole in the ground, and has probably been listening to America's bad media because her parents are too lazy to teach her how to think for herself. Bush does suck but this is a bit extreme.

Nooo, that is not what I said, now, is it? The perpetual meaning of my comment was that the media has described your president as a man with evil intentions for the world, and american kids are stuck in front of the television so much that they believe every thing they hear.

I believe the feds had EVERY RIGHT to question this little girl. She violated a federal law by intimating that Bush should be killed. Before everyone goes overboard about the "should" word, consider this: She admitted to everything.
And just a fyi, according to California law 14 year olds have huge privacy rights. Since they are allowed to obtain an abortion without their parents consent, surely the feds should be allowed to question a 14 year old's allegience (or lack thereof) to insure that the president of the United States continues to suck air.

Threat or no threat, her parents should have been present. By handling this irresponsibly, the Feds have brought embarrassment on themselves and likely ensured that hundreds of copy-catters will post similar images online in search of either fame or some kind of Free Speech message.
