...Beltran is just amazing. once again, playing well when it matters most. i like the Mets to win the series...in probably 7 games.

If they win tonite, I doubt it goes 7. If we win tonight and have Carp on the mound for Game 6... I like our chances in 6 as well.

I think Beltran and Delgado are a little too much for St Louis.

if the Cards can keep it close for 6 innings, and keep it tied orhave the lead, then they can win.

Going with the lefty specialists against Beltran and Delgado.

Hitting and getting to Glavine early is the key, if they can do it, they should be ok.

Hopefully Pujols can shake off this apparent Hamstring.

if the Cards win tonight, its over tommarow night with Carp vs Maine.

Boy I damn near called it.

Also, guess that Weaver guy is ok right ESPN??? Outpitched senor Glavine, against a better hitting lineup.

Carp going tommarow vs Maine, the Cards NEED to wrap it up.

Hardest wins are elimination games, but they need to come out haulin ass vs Maine in the top of that inning.

Spiezio, Pujols, Edmonds, Rolen, ALL need to bring it HARDCORE!!!

COME ON YOU REDBIRDS!!! ONE MORE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I am cautiously excited.

Maybe after 2 years of being the overwhleming favorite, we need a year to be the underdog.

That was a bull called 3rd strike on Valentin last night.

    Oh please.

It was on the outside corner.

Just think of it as payback for all the bull called strikes that Glavine got in game 1.

    Paybacks a aint it.

Congrats to the Mets tonight for stepping up and winning.

Hopefully the Cardinals can break their stupidity and actually hit a lefthander tommarow.

Carpenter pitched a good game, but not good enough.

THe offense had a chance to end the series in the first inning and Edmonds and Rolen stiffed.

Prob the last shot this team had. When youve got a team like the Mets down you knock em out and KILL EM.

Unfortunately they've given em new life with this game, and Im sad to say that was a mistake.

Onto game 7 in Shea stadium. Not good....
