- A rookie middle reliever pitching at AAA Springfield
- A rookie releiver with 13.1 total innings pitched

would all combine for a masterful Game 5 win in the NLCS, you would have laughed me out of the building.

Weaver has been absolutely phenomenal.

He looks like the pitcher that the Yankees traded for.


Last night he had a couple bad at bats and THATS IT!

I mean he pitched Delgado and Beltran absolutely TEXTBOOK!

I'm very excited about Weaver next year, and others.


IMO the offseason would go great if they go hardcore after a Jason Schmidt.

Keep Wainwright as the closer.

Hes showing he has what it takes to be a complete shut down closer.

Those are rare now adays, you sign Wainwright up for long term, and keep him in the closer position, and hopefully get an insurance settlement on Isringhausen.


Take that money, go after a Carlos Lee, an Alfonso Soriano,a big big big bat.

Get that big bat, put him in left field.

Resign Suppan, Weaver, Belliard, Spiezio.

Then your set for next year.
