He'll never make the team. Might be decent trade bait in the future.
OK, it's only to the practice squad. Jerheme (pronounced "Jeremy") is a good kid, great hands, decent if unspectacular speed, incredible work ethic (ask Seattle QB Matt Hassleback). His major problem in his three years in the NFL seemed to be getting off the line ... that, and injuries.
Glad to see the 'pokes giving him another chance. Seattle cut him at the start of the season after he reinjured his foot during last season. The team tried to cut him without pay (it was in the contract he signed) but the Seattle players stood up for him and the Seahawks brought him back and paid for his rehab as well as half his salary.
OK, enough of his life story. It would be nice to see him make his way back into the league, even wearing a star on his helmet. He's basically the anti-TO.

Cowboys sign Urban, release Bilbo
IRVING -- The Cowboys signed wide receiver Jerheme Urban and released Damarious Bilbo from the practice squad, coach Bill Parcells announced Thursday.
Urban played three seasons (2003-2005) with Seattle. The former Trinity University standout played in 11 career games with two starts, 13 receptions and one touchdown for the Seahawks.
Urban’s first and only career touchdown was against Dallas in a Monday night game on December 6, 2004. Urban’s 19-yard touchdown came in the Seahawks’ wild 43-39 loss to the Cowboys.
He'll never make the team. Might be decent trade bait in the future.
