could be. But Judson's district is tougher top to bottom than Clemens. You are probably right about being close but I still like Judson.
Judson's 26-5A is no doubt tougher, but they way that Clemens has steamrolled thru their 25-5A is amazing.

clemens should handle seguin w/o much of a problem, but i expect judson v. clemens to be one of a battle. at this point i favor judson a little. but clemens has that kid james henry if they give him the touches he deserves i dont think judson can stop him, they didn't last year.
The only impressive win on that list is San Marcos.
If Clemens meets Judson in the playoffs they won't be in the playoffs long.
Don't forget that Clemens' record against 26-5A compe ion is 0-1. My Rough Riders beat Clemens 17-14 and then got their asses handed to them by Judson 38-0.

Clemens is going D1 - Thats set in stone and they will play Judson, that too is set in stone. Let me say that the Roosevelt team that beat Clemens early this season in nondistrict was healty, once district started they llost in the neighborhood of I beleive 8 starters. So....
Then they're TOAST. That too is set in stone.
But hey, Baylor did the gies yesterday, so anything's possible.
Everyone thought Judson would beat Clemens last year in district too, and look what happened.

all this talk about Judson and Clemens....what about the Frontier Bowl on Friday Night? Harlandale vs McCollum...classic game and a district le on the line too.

only cause judson busses their kids from all over to play there...
no they don't. They only take kids from their district. Now people have moved into the district for their kids to play football....but they do not provide transportation from outside their district.

Damn, I used to know the whole school song, and I never even went there (cant remember a lick now. (Judson football is HUGE in Converse, and I lived most of my life less than a mile away from the stadium so I could tell when judson scored (from the cheering) even while I was inside.
Hah.. I knew the fight song/alma mater before I went there, and knew how to play it before any of the other band kids. :P
Anyway, it's on now.. Friday, 7:30, in the Alamodome. It sucks because I'll probably miss the Spurs game that day, but such is life.
